Westland – American Oak Single Malt Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Westland American Oak is an American single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46%. Westland set out to make an authentically American single malt, and they do so by combining their signature five-malt barley bill with new American oak casks. That pairing, which they describe as practically unheard of in the old world, gives a whiskey quite different from what is usual in the single malt category. Just as Scottish single malts reflect regions such as Islay and Speyside, this whiskey is meant to stay true to Westland's home in the Pacific Northwest.
