Westland – American Single Malt Garryana 6th Edition 2021 (70cl)

This is the sixth edition of Garryana, an American single malt from Westland in Washington State. The series is built around Garry oak, a wood native to the Pacific Northwest. For this edition, the Garry oak influence is balanced with casks that held Brandy and Pedro Ximénez sherry. It comes in a 70cl bottle. On the nose there are dark fruits, toasted oak and a faint brandied sweetness. The palate brings savoury spice and roasted, earthy notes from the oak, with the brightness of the Brandy and the rich fruit of the sherry. The finish carries spice, oak and fruit.
