Westland Beer Cask Finish American Single Malt Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Westland Beer Cask Finish is an American single malt from Westland Distillery in Seattle, Washington, bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It belongs to the Cask Exploration Series, which draws on the brewing tradition of the Pacific Northwest. The whiskey matures first in new American oak, ex-bourbon and ex-rye casks. It is then finished in a rotating mix of Scotch ale, stout, brown ale, doppelbock, saison and stock ale casks. The nose offers dried peach, honeydew melon, eggnog cake and cocoa powder. On the palate come vanilla pastry cream, caramel sauce and lavender green tea, bright and malt-forward.
