An American single malt from Westland, released in August 2024 in an outturn of 10,950 bottles and bottled at 46%. The minimum maturation is 8 years.
The whiskey is finished in casks that held saison, stout, scotch ale, brown ale, doppelbock and stock ale, a nod to the craft brewing tradition of the Pacific Northwest. Before that it was matured in new American oak and in first fill ex-bourbon and ex-rye casks. The result is bright and crisp, with a malt-forward character.
The nose brings dried peach, honeydew melon, eggnog cake and cocoa powder. The palate shows vanilla pastry cream, caramel sauce and lavender green tea.
