This is a single malt from Westland, a private cask selection made by San Diego Scotch Club and bottled at 53.1% ABV. It is made from five malt grains.
The whisky matured for seven years in total, most of that time in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. It was then finished for 2.2 years in Pedro Ximénez hogsheads.
The nose brings morning dew, toasted marshmallow, mocha and cinnamon cake. On the palate there is cream cheese frosting, hard caramel candy and freeze-dried raspberry.
