Westward American PX Sherry Cask Single Malt Whiskey (75cl)

Westward American PX Sherry Cask is an American single malt whiskey from Oregon, in a 750ml bottle. It is the first time Westward has finished its single malt in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks. The casks came from Spain and had previously held PX Naranja, a Pedro Ximénez wine matured with organic Seville orange peels. The finish adds richness and citrus to the house style, with the dark character of PX sherry balanced by a bright, fruit-forward lift. The nose offers biscotti, stewed orchard fruit, caramel, fig jam, nutmeg and chocolate. On the palate come dark fruits, raisins, buttercream, honey, strawberry and cherry. The finish brings blackberries, sweet licorice, hazelnut, chocolate caramels and Cavendish tobacco.
