Whiskey Del Bac Sentinel Straight Rye Whiskey Mesquite Cask Limited Release

Sentinel is a straight rye whiskey from Whiskey Del Bac, released in a limited edition. It is a blend of three-year-old and two-year-old whiskies made from a mash of 95% rye and 5% malt, distilled and aged in Indiana. The rye was then finished in freshly harvested mesquite Whiskey Del Bac casks and filtered through a bed of charcoal made from mesquite, which comes from the distillery's own mesquite malting process. It is described as having the bold flavours of a traditional high-rye whiskey, softened by a hint of mesquite.
