Whiskey JYPSI The Legacy Batch 1 by Eric Church

Legacy Batch 001, named The Journey, is the first blend from Eric Church's Whiskey JYPSI. It combines three whiskeys of different ages and origins. Seventy per cent is Indiana bourbon, made from 99% corn and 1% malted barley and aged 7 and 8 years. Twenty-one per cent is Canadian rye from Alberta, made from 91% rye and 9% malted barley and aged 20 years. The remaining 9% is Indiana malt whiskey, aged four years in new American oak. The bourbon is described as rich and sweet, the rye as perfumed with butterscotch and spice, and the malt as nutty with vanilla, smoke and caramel.
