An 11 year old Auchroisk from Speyside, bottled by Whisky Is The Limit, whose founder is Salim Duriaux-Hogga. It was distilled in June 2011, matured in a first fill Saint Estephe wine barrique and bottled in March 2023 at 57.1%, giving 470 bottles in a 50cl size. It is natural in colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose has sweet malt, hazelnuts, red fruits and oak from the red wine barrique. Malt, sweet blackcurrant, vanilla, pear and rich caramel lead the palate, and the finish is fruity and delicately woody.
