Mask of Death II is a 10 year old Speyside single malt distilled at Dailuaine. It belongs to the second batch of the Whisky of Voodoo series from the independent bottler Brave New Spirits, and 1,267 bottles were filled.
The whisky matured in Bourbon barrels and is bottled at cask strength, 55%, without chill-filtering or added colour.
Candied almonds, rosewater and honey mark the nose, with a note of poppy seed. The palate is full and balanced, with roasted almonds, rosewater and floral impressions. The finish is long, joining floral accents with honey-glazed nuts.
