This is a twelve-year-old Glen Elgin single malt from Speyside, bottled by WhiskyDudes at 55% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled on 13 December 2012 and bottled on 10 April 2024, with an outturn of 145 bottles.
The whisky began in a hogshead and was then re-racked into a first-fill PX quarter cask for over two years. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered.
The nose combines muscovado sugar, blood orange, dried fruits and a little oak. The palate adds red berries, five spice and molasses, and the finish is lingering sweetness with Valencia orange.
