This is a 6-year-old Highland Park single malt bottled by WhiskyDudes, a company founded by Edwin van Scherpenzeel. It was distilled on 12 June 2017 and bottled on 17 July 2023, in a 70cl bottle at 60% ABV. It is natural colour and non-chill-filtered, from cask 52, with 161 bottles filled.
The spirit began in a refill hogshead and was then re-racked into a fresh Tawny Port quarter cask for 27 months.
The nose shows mango, dragon fruit, sea salt, a whiff of smoke, seaweed and raisins. The palate has caramel, prunes, red apple and milk chocolate with very gentle peat. The finish brings white pepper, herbal grassiness and nectarine.
