This is a 16 year old Teaninich single malt from the Highlands, bottled by WhiskyDudes at a cask strength of 59.6% in a 70cl bottle. It was distilled in March 2007 and bottled in March 2023, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
The whisky was matured in a hogshead, then re-racked into an Oloroso hogshead for 28 months. The outturn is 215 bottles.
The nose is herbal and grassy, with oregano and limestone, before sweet summer fruits of pineapple, mango and peach appear. The palate is creamy, with crème fraîche, powdered sugar, mixed peppers, oak and a fresh fruit punch. The finish is drying and grassy, with a note of thyme cough syrup.
