WhistlePig – 10 Year Old Small Batch Straight Rye Whiskey (3L, 50%)

A ten year old small batch straight rye from WhistlePig, in a 3-litre bottle at 100 proof, or 50% ABV. The whiskey is 100% rye, aged for ten years, and hand-bottled at the brand's 500-acre farm in Shoreham, Vermont. The recipe follows the conviction of founding master distiller Dave Pickerell, who found the rye spirit in Alberta, Canada, and brought it to Vermont. WhistlePig released its first whiskey in 2010, at a time when American rye was a small and little-noticed part of the shelf.
