This is a limited edition American wheat whiskey from WhistlePig, made in Vermont and bottled at 43% ABV in a 750ml bottle. It was released to celebrate American independence, and its red, white and blue bottle carries a 'USA' declaration seal.
The mash bill is mainly wheat, with supporting grains.
The nose offers honeyed grains, baked apple and toasted oak. The palate opens silky, with vanilla cream, wheat toast, caramel and soft spice. The finish is clean, warm and lingering, with a hint of maple and citrus.
