WhistlePig Old World is a 12 year old rye whiskey from Vermont, in a 750ml bottle at 86 proof. It is a marriage of whiskeys aged in new American oak.
The whiskey is finished in Port, French Sauternes and Madeira casks.
The nose offers caramel, vanilla and winter fruit. On the palate come rye spice, apricots, plums, raisins, dates and honey. The finish carries dark chocolate, winter fruit, caramel and vanilla.
