This is a six-year-old bourbon from WhistlePig's PiggyBack range, bottled at 50% ABV, or 100 proof, in a 75cl bottle.
The mash bill is led by corn with a dash of rye, and the whiskey spends its six years in barrels with a number-three char before bottling.
The nose opens with caramel corn and oak. On the palate come maple and vanilla with a creamy mouthfeel, and the finish brings herbal tea and a hint of honey.
