WhistlePig Piggyback Rye (48.3%)

WhistlePig Piggyback Rye is a rye whiskey made from a mash bill of 100% rye, aged not less than six years and bottled at 96.56 proof (48.28%). It was created after Dave Pickerell returned to the WhistlePig barrel houses in the summer of 2018 with the aim of making a rye for cocktails. He chose the full-flavoured spice of a 100% rye mash bill, then settled on the age and bottling strength. A thread of cinnamon and citrus runs through it.
