WhistlePig – PiggyBack Single Barrel Rye 6 Year Old Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber (75cl, 50.4%)

This is a six-year-old single barrel rye from WhistlePig, a limited edition chosen by the Stake F1 Team Kick Sauber as its official whiskey. It is bottled at 50.385% (100.77 proof), a nod to the racing number 77 of driver Valtteri Bottas. The rye was aged in new American oak and then finished in barrels that previously held OATH Gin, a Finnish craft gin created by Bottas and distilled with oats and apple peel. It is described as having crisp, fresh apple flavours with delicate pine undertones.
