WhistlePig Rye 10 Year Old is an American rye whiskey from Vermont, bottled at 50% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It began with a stock of aged rye whiskey discovered in Alberta, Canada, which was aged in new American oak and bottled by hand as a rye on its own.
The nose offers allspice, orange peel, anise, oak, char and caramel. The palate is sweet, with hints of caramel and vanilla, then rye spice and mint. The finish is long, with warm butterscotch and caramel.
