This is a 10 year old straight bourbon from WhistlePig, part of its Snout to Tail series.
After the initial ten years, the bourbon goes into a second period of barrel ageing using an experimental two-headed toast. Each barrel head is toasted differently, and each adds its own toasted notes to the character of the whiskey.
