WhistlePig Snout to Tail is a 10 year old straight bourbon in a 3 litre bottle, bottled at 44% ABV (88 proof).
It is finished with two toasted barrel heads: one given a Vermont oak medium toast, the other a Vermont oak smoked maple wood toast. The finishing adds oak, sweetness, nuttiness and warm spice.
The nose offers honey, brown sugar, toasted cashew and light caramel. On the palate come roasted almonds, baked cornbread and toasted oak, and the finish brings butterscotch, cedar and light spice.
