WhistlePig The Badonkadonk is a 25-year-old single malt whiskey made from 100% malted barley and bottled at 45.5% ABV in a 75cl bottle. It was distilled in Canada and matured for 25 years in new American oak.
The whiskey moved to Vermont in 2020 and was finished in Cabernet Sauvignon barrels from Silver Oak Cellars in Alexander Valley, California.
The nose offers stone fruits, fig and plum, with crème brûlée and light butterscotch. On the palate come cedar wood, dough, wild honey, dark chocolate and toasted oak. The finish brings toasted almonds and tanned leather.
