WhistlePig 'The BigSheBang' is a 30 year old single malt whiskey in a 750ml bottle. It was produced and matured in Canada, then finished in Vin Santo casks and bottled by WhistlePig at its distillery in Shoreham, Vermont.
The nose is very aromatic and slightly spirity, with fig jam, golden raisins and candied orange zest, plus dried apricot and other dried stone and tropical fruit from the Vin Santo influence. Toffee, dark honey, almond brittle, cocoa, digestive biscuit, kirsch, seasoned oak, subtle herbal notes and rancio notes of old leather and wood polish follow.
