The Golden Pharaoh is the thirteenth edition of WhistlePig's Boss Hog, a single barrel straight rye in a 75cl bottle. It is finished in barrels seasoned with Egyptian black honey and tiger nut, and the bottle is topped with a pewter pharaoh etched with hieroglyphics.
It is bottled at full proof. Brown sugar and cinnamon sit with baking spice and molasses over WhistlePig's rye base, and the finish is soft, with toasted almond and brown sugar oatmeal.
