This is a limited edition wheat whiskey from WhistlePig, the distillery in Shoreham, Vermont. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 75cl bottle.
The whiskey was aged in new American oak barrels and then finished over a Solo Stove fire, which gives the toasting its name. The mash bill is led by wheat.
On the palate there is caramel, toasted bread and a hint of spice, with a creamy richness that lingers and a gentle smokiness from the toasting.
