A blended Scotch whisky from the 1970s, in a 100cl bottle at 43% ABV. White Horse grew out of the whisky merchants James Logan Mackie & Co, founded in 1880. James's nephew Peter Mackie joined the business in 1890 and launched the White Horse blend the following year. The company became part of DCL in 1927, and the blend was eventually limited to export markets.
