Whyte & Mackay – 12 Year Old is a blended whisky from Whyte & Mackay (Scotland). Aged 12 years, bottled at 40% ABV, 75cl. An older bottling of Whyte & Mackay 12 year old Blended Scotch Whisky, produced from a combination of malt and grain whiskies. This expression represents an earlier style of Whyte & Mackay and is believed to date from the 1980s. Whyte & Mackay has a long history in Scotch whisky, having been established in Glasgow in 1882 by James Whyte and Charles Mackay, and became particularly well known for its aged blended Scotch whiskies.
