This is a 50 year old blended Scotch whisky from Whyte & Mackay, released as a 175th anniversary bottling. It is bottled at 44.6% ABV in a 50cl bottle.
The whisky was matured in a combination of ex-Bourbon barrels, Matusalem oloroso sherry butts, one Tawny Port pipe and 30 year old Apostoles sherry butts. On release it went only to competition winners and was never sold on the open market.
