Widow Jane Decadence is a bourbon from the Widow Jane Distillery in Brooklyn, New York, bottled at 45.5% and non-chill filtered.
It is a marriage of straight bourbons aged for at least 10 years, finished in barrels that previously held maple syrup from a New York estate. It is made in limited batches for seasonal release.
The nose offers sugared pecans, maple syrup, birch beer and charred oak. On the palate come vanilla bean and burnt sugar, with cinnamon bark and maple. The finish brings brown sugar, shortbread and mellow tobacco, ending dry on oak.
