Widow Jane – Paradigm Rye

Paradigm Rye is a blended rye whiskey from Widow Jane. It combines spirit distilled in Red Hook with hand-selected rye whiskeys from Kentucky and Indiana. It continues the house tradition of unusual ryes that are delicate in style yet make a strong base for classic cocktails. Beyond the spice expected of rye, it brings sweetness and a fuller mouthfeel. The nose offers lemon meringue pie, spring flowers, cut grass and lychee. The palate shows buttered rye toast, mandarin marmalade, cedar and white pepper. The finish runs through thyme, artichoke, Earl Grey, sandalwood and peach.
