Widow Jane Rye Mash American Oak Aged

Widow Jane Rye Mash is an American rye whiskey aged in American oak. The rye distillate comes off the still sweet, grassy and floral, and the spicy character associated with rye develops in the barrel. Here it is rounded in once-used 10-year bourbon barrels, with fresh cut oak staves added to give a light touch of oak. It is described as a light, tropical summer rye, and one that works in cocktails with a good bitter, a splash of vermouth or ginger beer.
