Widow Jane Rye Mash Oak & Applewood Aged is an American rye whiskey. It starts from the same point as the distillery's Oak Rye, which is aged in a once-used 10 year old bourbon barrel.
Fresh-cut applewood staves are added alongside the oak. The aim was to take the rye distillate towards a soothing, fruity profile, compared with traditional ryes.
