Widow Jane Tequila Ocho Cask Finish is a 10 year old bourbon in a 750ml bottle. It joins Brooklyn and Arandas, the home of Ocho tequila.
The whiskey was finished for eight months in Ocho casks, returning a favour after Ocho once rested in Widow Jane barrels. Oak and dark fruit sit alongside bright spice, citrus and a gentle herbal lift over agave.
The nose offers marigold, black tea, dark tobacco, papaya and lime zest. On the palate come chocolate pecan pie, canela, dried mango and agave nectar. The finish brings green peppercorns, mesquite, roasted agave, coffee and flan.
