Wild Turkey 101 is a Kentucky bourbon from the Wild Turkey distillery in Lawrenceburg, which has made bourbon since 1869. It is bottled at 50.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whiskey is a blend of bourbons aged 6, 7 and 8 years, and it pairs its strength with rich, sweet aromas.
The nose offers vanilla and chocolate, candied citrus peel, white pepper and honey over a background of oak. The palate is rich, juicy and full, with caramel and more pepper, leading to a very long finish of toasted bread.
