Wild Turkey 81 Proof is a Kentucky bourbon from the Lawrenceburg distillery, where Wild Turkey has been made since 1869. It is bottled at about 40.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and its mash has a higher proportion of rye.
The nose is spicy and woody, with rye, vanilla and coffee. The palate is full and rounded, with caramel, rhubarb and custard. The finish is long and spicy, with a faintly toasted edge.
