This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Wild Turkey Distillery in Lawrenceburg, bottled at 50.5% ABV (101 proof) in a 1.75 litre bottle.
The mashbill is 75% corn, 13% rye and 12% malted barley. The spirit goes into charred American white oak barrels at a low entry proof of 107 to 115, which keeps more of the distillate's character during maturation.
The nose is brown sugar and baking spice with caramel, vanilla and orange zest. The palate brings butterscotch, sweet corn, red licorice and cinnamon. The finish is long and dry, with a gentle chilli heat, tobacco, orange peel and charred oak.
