Wild Turkey Longbranch is a Kentucky straight bourbon bottled at 43% ABV, created by Wild Turkey Master Distiller Eddie Russell in collaboration with the actor Matthew McConaughey. After ageing, it is charcoal-filtered twice, first through white American oak and then through Texas mesquite.
The nose is caramel, vanilla and brown sugar with honey, orange peel and nutmeg, and a wisp of mesquite smoke. The palate is light-bodied and silky, with cream soda, orange zest, corn sweetness and honey. The finish is mild, with cinnamon, oak and smoke.
