Wild Turkey Rye is a rye whiskey from the Wild Turkey distillery in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky, in a 70cl bottle. Its mash bill is 51% rye, 37% corn and 12% malted barley.
The whiskey matures for four to five years in first-fill American oak casks.
The nose is intense and led by spice, with dried fruit and wood behind it. The palate is big and powerful, deep and full-bodied, almost tactile, with a lasting, balanced taste.
