Willett Family Estate Single Barrel Bourbon from barrel #3682 is a 14-year-old sourced bourbon, bottled by Willett Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, on 5 May 2018, Kentucky Derby Day. It is released as a Derby Day bottling.
The whiskey comes from a single barrel and was bottled at barrel strength, 60.7% ABV (121.4 proof), without dilution. Willett's single barrel programme sources whiskey from various Kentucky distilleries and labels each bottle with its barrel number, age, proof and bottling date.
The nose brings caramel, dried fruit, toasted oak, leather and baking spice. On the palate are vanilla, brown sugar, dark fruit and charred oak with warm spice, followed by a long, warm, oak-driven finish.
