This is an eight year old straight Kentucky bourbon from Willett's Family Estate in Bardstown, bottled from a single barrel, number 3017, at a cask strength of 64.3%. It was matured in white oak and is non-chill-filtered with no added colour. The colour is a deep mahogany.
The nose opens with vanilla and caramel, followed by cream toffee and a light toffee spice. The palate is full-bodied and sweet, with restrained spice and no smoke. The finish is medium in length, with increasingly dry oak and fine roasted notes.
