This is a Willett Family Estate single barrel straight rye whiskey from Kentucky, aged for 11 years. It was hand bottled from barrel number 1477 at 54.9% ABV (109.8 proof) in a 75cl bottle, and it carries the PAC EDGE SOCAL 2025 selection name.
The nose combines rye spice, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, mint, dried fruit and a little leather. The palate is bold and layered, with spicy rye grain, dark caramel, oak, baking spice, black pepper and dried fruit. The finish is long and warm, with rye spice, oak, caramel, mint and leather.
