The nose layers brandied cherry over a mildly tart cherry, and opens with time to cinnamon and baking spices, with a hint of oak. The palate is robust, with dark cherry, burnt vanilla and spice, and a weighty mouthfeel.
The finish is long. Spice leads in this batch, while the cherry still comes through.
