At five years old it is grain-forward and intense rather than deep with oak, keeping the sweetness and vibrancy that shorter maturation preserves. The nose offers caramelised sugar, vanilla and toasted oak, with baking spice and darker notes of cherry and cocoa. The palate is full-bodied, with caramel, brown sugar, cinnamon, vanilla and seasoned oak. The finish is long and warming.
