Willett Family Estate Small Batch is a four-year-old rye whiskey bottled at cask strength, in a 75cl bottle. It is made by combining a selection of barrels into a single small batch.
The nose layers brandied cherry over a mildly tart cherry, opening with time to cinnamon and baking spices and a hint of oak. The palate is a robust rye with dark cherry, burnt vanilla and spice, and a weighty mouthfeel. The finish is long, led by spice, with the cherry pushing through.
