A wheated Kentucky straight bourbon from Willett Distillery in Bardstown, bottled at 47% in a 75cl decanter shaped like a pot still. The mashbill is 65% corn, 20% wheat and 15% malted barley.
It is distilled twice, in a column still and then a copper pot still used as a doubler, and aged for a minimum of four years in new American oak barrels with a heavy number 4 char.
The nose brings ripe cherry and citrus with vanilla, dry oak and honey. The palate is gentle and creamy, with caramel, coconut and black pepper, and the finish is long and warm with caramel and soft baking spice.
