Willett – Pot Still Reserve Kentucky Bourbon (175cl)

Willett Pot Still Reserve is a wheated Kentucky bourbon, made entirely at the Willett Distillery in Bardstown, in a 1.75 litre bottle. The mashbill is 65% corn, 20% wheat and 15% malted barley, with creamy wheat in place of the spice of rye. The whiskey is roughly five years old. The Kulsveen family rebuilt the distillery after years of buying in whiskey for blends such as Rowan's Creek and Noah's Mill. Willett was founded in 1936 and began distilling again in 2012. Cinnamon red hots and plenty of vanilla characterise the flavour.
