Willett Pot Still Reserve (75cl, 47%)

Willett Pot Still Reserve is a small batch Kentucky straight bourbon from the Willett Distillery in Bardstown, bottled at 47% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The decanter is modelled on the distillery's own pot still, stopper included. The bourbon first appeared in 2008 as a single-barrel release. Current bottlings are small batch, a change of format rather than of character, and carry no age statement. The distillery is family-owned and was founded in 1936. The nose is reminiscent of vanilla lemon cake, and the palate balances caramel, vanilla, spice and citrus.
