Willett Speakeasy is a small-batch Kentucky straight bourbon from the Willett Distillery in Bardstown, in a 750ml bottle. It is charcoal filtered, and the name nods to the Prohibition-era bars where bourbon was served quietly.
The Willett family has been part of Kentucky bourbon since the 1930s and also makes the Willett Family Estate range.
Caramel, vanilla and sweet corn lead the nose. The palate offers toffee, brown sugar, cinnamon and oak, and the finish is warm and easy with sweet spice.
