This is a 12 year old Kentucky straight bourbon from Buffalo Trace, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2020. It is bottled at 45% abv and comes in a 75cl bottle.
It is named after William Larue Weller, reported to be the creator of wheated bourbon. In keeping with that style, the mashbill uses wheat in place of the spicy rye found in a traditional recipe, which gives a smooth whiskey for sipping.
